As a parent of a gender questioning quirky and extremely bright teen I hope RIT will take an honest and hard look at the growing scientific evidence that humans can not change their sex. The irreversible damage to human life is heartbreaking. While my student will be attending RIT in the Fall of 2025 we have an agreement for her to pause her decision to medicalize until she has finished her undergraduate work. The number of detransitioners, the disregard for child/brain development I would think would be compelling for such an esteemed institution. If you are not already aware of genspect.org I encourage you to review their resources. ~ Parent
