says:

Dartmouth has the whole set-up: doctors and nurses, pharma, counseling, therapy at Dick House, OPAL has the gender office who come up with the events and speakers (wondering how much the fees are for these speakers) on gender and trans activism—-exclusive to trans. Referrals for labs to Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Students pay a certain amount every year for Health fee which gives them access to Dicks House for everything including gender services and cross sex hormones (which are not FDA approved for this use). Then they have the college health insurance which covers gender services and meds…but who will cover for the resulting complications (cancer, endocrine problems, blood problems, psychological problems, immuno problems, etc?) when the students get out of college? They also have connections with retailers (links in their website) for tucking tapes, breast binders, underwear, etc. Instead of Dartmouth supporting unucessary medical services and medicating students, why not focus on putting the money on real student services that would benefit students and Dartmouth for the long term such as student housing which there is a shortfall? ~ Parent

says:

My son was just homesick and lonely trying to adjust college life away from home…spent time on the computer, came across the Dartmouth gender website, clicked on a link, got an appointment, spoke to a nurse. The nurse prescribed estrogen to my son. My smart, active son is now lethargic, grades have slipped, complains of headaches, eye vision problems, chest palpitations, always tired. All the while we were perplexed with the sudden change and sudden health problems until we learned he was given estrogen at Dartmouth. ~ Parent

says:

Dartmouth College’s DSGHP (group health plan) for students covers prescription of cross sex hormones. If your child goes to Dartmouth and comes home sick due to sudden headaches or worst blood clots, check if your kids are using cross sex hormones.Note that they are prescribing and administering what is not FDA approved. Dartmouth uses informed consent to 18-22 year olds as recommended by WPATH.While the world is waking up to Cass Report, etc. Dartmouth is complicit harming kids with cross sex hormones. ~ Parent

says:

The federal funds and alumni donations should be looked into…how much of these monies are spent on transing students instead of truly investing in Dartmouth education. Dartmouth College even directs students to tucking and breast binding. The gender office staff would surely want to continue this as they will be out of jobs if they this office did close. Keep the jobs of the food workers instead. ~ Parent

says:

Dartmouth College also encourages tucking and breast binding. This is explicitly shown in their website. Dick’s House Providers also send the students secret Signal chats——ironically the signal chat is not inclusive as it is only geared towards Dartmouth Transgender and Non-Binary…why exclude gays, lesbian and non-binary? Dick’s House Pharmacy easily provides hormones and hand them like candy. Of the $92,000 cost of education, how much is Dartmouth funding is going to harming its students. How much of the federal money and alumni donations are going to this? I have ceased the donation as a parent. ~ Parent

says:

“Widespread” trans activism? Ha, I wish. We’re such a small campus that the trans population isn’t very big either. But we are working on having more visibility and engaging with others in the community, and there is support for trans students if you know where to look (this site is a good guide). I would encourage trans students to apply here! ~ Staff

says:

As an active alumna and annual donor to the Dartmouth College Fund, I am beyond disappointed to learn how far Dartmouth has gone down the transgender trail. Where is the independent thinking? You are captured, and complicit in what will go down in history as one of the great medical scandals. ~ Parent
