Notes:
- University Health Services provides students with cross-sex hormones using the "informed consent" model and justifies the practice with the WPATH Standards of Care stating that "UHS provides hormone therapy for transgender students using the informed consent model. Hormone therapy is covered by the SHIP CMU's student health insurance plan. This means that UHS does not require a student to get a letter from a mental health provider in support of hormones as long as they can provide informed consent for care. The informed consent model is consistent with WPATH Standards of Care and reduces barriers to accessing medically necessary treatment".

I have two degrees from CMU and treasure the education and wonderful life experiences I was privileged to have there.
However, I have decided not to provide any monetary enhancement for CMU, precisely because of identitarian policies and politics.
These destructive and divisive ideologies are anti-knowledge, anti-inclusive, and anti-democratic. Tragically, DEI, which once genuinely opened doors and minds, has become something very different. DEI now stands for Division, Exclusion, and Intolerance.
You should have a category for alumni. Since you don’t, I selected staff (since I have taught at other universities). ~ Staff
