Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. Our original classification of Auburn as “widespread” was based on a careful review of the university’s official policies, DEI initiatives, LGBTQ+ student organizations, and feedback from a range of families concerned about institutional support for gender ideology.
As part of our regular review process, we recently re-evaluated Auburn and determined that a “moderate” classification more accurately reflects the balance between its formal structures and its broader cultural environment. This adjustment reflects our ongoing commitment to presenting thorough, independent assessments across all institutions, and we welcome all feedback as part of that work.
As an Auburn parent it is patently ridiculous to call trans activism widespread on this campus. It is a public school with a heavily conservative Christian flavor. Having LGBT services and basic common sense like gender neutral SINGLE OCCUPANCY bathrooms does NOT make the campus trans activist. It is a loving , accepting campus that ranks as #1 for happiest students and in our 4 years there we have seen absolutely nothing to indicate that it is “trans activist”. By listing it as such you really have lost credibility as an organization. ~ Parent
